Daisy Duke is the perfect name for this show stopper, but something about just makes me want to sing watermelon sugar. I would say this is the closest we have gotten to Ellie’s dream unicorn flower, and it is beloved crossed gardens and vases alike! Fan and farm favorite! 

Prior to sprouting, dahlia tubers do not need regular water, once you see sprouts you may water the plants on a regular basis.

Tubers should be stored in pine shavings in a dark location between 40-50 degrees Fahrenheit. Do not allow to freeze. Temperatures above 50 degrees may cause tubers to sprout prematurely.
